02 / Context
More EVs than charge points. First come, first served – everyone else is frustrated. Calendar tools don't help because nobody has to obey them. And new smart wallboxes cost €1,500–2,500 per point plus electrician hours.

The charge point is physically switched on for the booking and off afterwards.
Every switch-on command carries a local auto-off timer inside the device. If the internet or server dies, the charging session still ends on time – proven under test.

01 — Distribution board
Per charge point: an industrial energy meter with contactor control in the distribution cabinet. The load current stays where it belongs – the wallbox stays untouched.
02 — TLS / LTE
Devices connect encrypted (TLS) via an outbound connection – no port forwarding, no VPN, works over an LTE router per building.
03 — Per device
Technicians provision devices with a setup script or directly in the browser via Bluetooth. Every device reports to the dashboard within seconds – acceptance testing is part of the software.
04 — 24/7 operations
Live status, power telemetry, offline alerts and a complete switching audit trail. Manual override for facility management included.

Two paths to a controllable charge point – depending on what is already on your wall.
Metering and switching gear in the distribution cabinet makes any existing wallbox controllable – including devices without any interface, like the Tesla Wall Connector. Hard switch-off guarantee through the local fail-safe timer inside the device.
Wallboxes from Zaptec, go-e and Easee connect directly through the manufacturer API – live status and charging data today, active slot switching as a project deliverable. No work in the distribution cabinet required.
